Album Art for winterbird's first EP Requiem (2020)
winterbird is a tiny, one-woman folk/acoustic band based in Montreal, Canada. It's the musical project of singer-songwriter, barefoot wanderer, and birthworker, Lindsey Massar, who lives in a quiet little apartment with a bunch of instruments and her cat, Lois. Her music is a raw and delicate exploration of the alchemy of silence, sensitivity and sound.
Lindsey is a dear friend of mine and I was honored to create the concept art for her first EP and merch. The illustration is an interpretation of the themes of Death and Rebirth that permeate the whole album.
